Ashish is a Founder and Managing Principal at DGS Capital Management. In addition to overseeing the firm’s investment strategies, Ashish leads the research initiatives that focus on asset returns, trading, and portfolio management.

Prior to founding DGS, Ashish was a Senior Quant at Gerstein Fisher, an investment management firm headquartered in New York, where his team oversaw more than three billion dollars of client assets. His primary focus was on the firm’s Multi-Factor equity strategies and he was directly responsible for the day-to-day management of nearly $500 million of assets invested across twenty-five countries.

He built one of his first quant models at the age of 20 that was used to launch a US growth equity mutual fund. This fund has been one of the top performing funds in its category since its inception. Working directly with the Chief Investment Officer, Ashish played a lead role in developing and trading investment strategies in multiple markets across the globe.

Ashish received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School and a B.A.S. from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude in both.

A CFA charter holder and a Certified FRM, Ashish is a member of the CFA Institute and the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He is also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) and the Indian Association of Investment Professionals (IAIP).
